Interview - iPodderX Team

Podcast Solutions Interview #6: Today I speak with August Trometer and Ray Slakinski of iPodderX. We talk about how they got started, their current product and the future of podcast client software. We also discuss podcasting in general and the fact that, in true Internet form, they are business partners that have never actually met in person. I hope you enjoy.

Thanks and I enjoy the show and have just bought your book.

This time, the question you should have asked up front this time is to “explain briefly what the Ipodderx application is and why it was created.” Instead, you said “Everybody is familiar with your product, IpodderX, it is a great application for people using the Macintosh.”

Being from the Windows world I have no idea what Ipodder(x) was(is). These guys sound interesting, but the interview would benefit from a brief explanation of the application and why it’s important.

I came to understand by the end of the interview that it was some kind of podcast client /player that has or will have aggregator capability, and it integrates with itunes in some way that wasn’t explained.

    Regards,

    Matt
