If you’d like to keep up to date with everything going on please follow me on Twitter. When I first set up my blogs I spent a bunch of time setting up “Asides,” basically short quips and interesting facts I could easily post to the sites. In recent months Twitter has emerged as the superior vehicle for micro-blogging and replaced my need for Asides here on the sites. So what should you do? Follow me.

The Second Edition of Podcast Solutions, is now available. We took it as a great compliment that the First Edition went through multiple printings and sold well enough to warrant a Second Edition. We spent a good deal of time revising, trimming and adding content to bring everything up to date. No easy task in something as quickly evolving as podcasting. Also, this time Paul Figgiani, a true podcasting expert, joined us in the role of Technical Reviewer.

The book has been updated to reflect the latest podcasting tips, techniques and hardware as well as brand new chapters added to cover video podcasting.

Additions Include:

• Updates on recommended audio equipment
• New software suggestions
• Video podcast production tip and tricks
• Video Editing
• Suggested video podcast equipment
• New suggestions for compression of audio and video
• Lots of new pictures and screenshots
• And all the tweeks and changes to the original text that two extra years of podcast experience has brought us!

The book is available at retailers or through Amazon now.

Over the last few days I received the first confirmed reports of our book, Podcast Solutions, appearing in Apple stores. I checked for myself and sure enough, there it was. We have recieved great feedback on the book and really appreciate that it continues to sell so well. If you need a copy, check with your local Apple store, the top 50 in the country now stock it.
